Bug task

  • Level: 1–4
  • Type: Repeatable
  • Location: T1 (Rygaron — good-side) / Odium, Despair, Solus (Guards — evil-side)
  • NPC: Rygaron (T1) / Local Guards (Odium/Despair/Solus)

Short description

Accept a repeatable task to kill 10 nearby bugs. Good-side players pick it up from Rygaron in T1; evil-side players can pick it up from certain guards in Odium/Despair/Solus.

Objectives

  • Kill 10 bugs in the appropriate nearby spawn area.
  • Good-side: bugs concentrate east of T1.
  • Evil-side: bugs spawn outside the southern entrances of Odium and Solus.
  • Return to the NPC who gave the task (Rygaron or the guard) to turn in. Either variant can also be handed in to the alternate faction NPC in some cases (Rygaron or guards).

Steps

  1. Talk to Rygaron in T1 (good) or a guard in Odium/Despair/Solus (evil) and accept the quest.
  2. Travel to the correct spawn area:
  3. Good-side: directly east of T1.
  4. Evil-side: outside southern town entrances of Odium/Solus.
  5. Kill bugs until the counter reaches 10.
  6. Return to the NPC to receive rewards. Quest can often be handed in to Rygaron or certain guards as noted above.

Rewards

  • 250 XP (increases to 350 XP at level 3)
  • Consumables / gear (varies; evil-side examples include maximus potion, life saving amulet, etc.)

Notes

  • XP increases at level 3; item rewards may vary by level and faction.
